Thank you for taking time to visit my website.  My name is Doctor Michael Tirgan.  I practice in upper west side of Manhattan.  Skin212.com represents a portion of my medical practice that is dedicated to cosmetic medicine.  This includes several medical procedures such as removal of benign skin spots such as Skin Tags, Moles, Warts, Red Spots, etc.; as well as Tattoo removal and Botox injections.

In removing skin spots, I utilize proven and established medical treatment methods.  I often use a method known as Cryotherapy. Using cryotherapy, a very limited frostbite is induced in the tissue or the spot that you would like to be removed, such as moles, warts, skin tags, skin growths, dark spots, tattoos, etc.  This controlled frostbite results in destruction of the cells that make up the unwanted spot.  Once this is achieved, the normal repair mechanisms of skin are activated and healing of the skin begins.  Over subsequent days, normal skin grows from underneath, a scab forms on the site of treatment, which then falls off in about two weeks.  Cryotherapy is very safe, very effective and leaves no scars; and above all, it is much more economical than alternatives such as Laser or surgery.

Below is a video of a facial mole that I treated with cryotherapy.  The end result was great. Normal skin completely covered the area where the mole was located.  Results were achieved with leaving absolutely no scars.

As you can see, the treatment is very easy to apply and is very well tolerated.   Below, is another video which depicts applying cryotherapy to a skin tag on the eyelid.   Most skin tags require only one treatment.  This particular skin tag required two treatments.  It then fell off and skin recovered without any scar formation.  The esthetic results were excellent.

I provide different lines of treatments. 

1-  Cryotherapy is very safe and very effective. There are no contraindications to usage of cryotherapy on skin.  This treatment is even safe to apply during pregnancy and can applied to every part of skin, near the eyes and on the eyelids.  Cryotherapy works very well.  The ultimate results vary after each individual treatment.  Some spots such as skin tags and warts usually need only one treatment, others may need more.

2-   Cosmetic BOTOX injections are done in a fashion that provide each individual with an individualized dose needed to achieve unique and desirable results. This method, known as BOTOX LITE™, significantly reduces the chances of complications from Botox injections and results in a more natural look at a very reasonable rate.
